Android apps are officially available on Chrome OS

Android devices and Chromebooks melt together – Android apps will work on Chromebooks. Sounds a bit like the Microsoft story with Windows 10, only that there are more Android apps than Windows 10 apps available. It’s a big step for Google and Chromebooks and offers millions of new opportunities for the usage of Chromebooks. They will be able to be handled as easily as Android smartphones.
