Apple’s 9.7-Inch iPad Pro Delivers Versatility in a Smaller Tablet
I’ve only tested the iPad Pro’s at the Apple Store and my decision would be for the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. An iPad needs to be portable (imho), this is why I would definitely go for the smaller version as it fits in any bag and you can hold it in one hand for a longer time, not too long though, then the iPad mini comes into play. I own an iPad Air 2 and am using it with the Logitech keyboard and am very happy with it. The only reason the 9.7-inch iPad Pro appeals to me is to create presentations with the Apple Pencil. But investing in it just for that while the iPad Air 2 is still running fine?
REVIEW: Take the best of the iPad Pro and the best of the iPad Air 2, add some features and you have the new 9.7-inch iPad Pro.
When the new Apple 9.7-inch iPad Pro arrived I soon found myself in a quandary. I placed it on my desk next to the 12.9-inch iPad Pro I bought back in November and I liked them both. Once I’d loaded my apps and other content on to the new iPad, my quandary became more intense. Which iPad would prove to be better, I wondered.
On one hand, the big iPad had all of that screen real estate and the ability to display photos with remarkable resolution. The screen was large enough to display documents side-by-side, and the keyboard was good enough to use as a laptop replacement.
On the other hand, the newer, smaller, iPad was far more portable and it has some features that the big iPad doesn’t have, including better cameras and handy things such as the ability to use the screen as a flash for taking selfies.
