Digital transformation out of reach for a third of global enterprises
One in every three companies worldwide is not ready to implement a digital transformation process, according to a new study of IT decision-makers conducted by Ovum. Sixty percent of organizations surveyed by the global data, market research and advisory firm reported that their transformation efforts are “well advanced” or “in progress,” ITProPortal reported. In contrast, 30 percent of respondents said they were in the early stages of development or hadn’t started at all, Total Telecom notes.
Transforming to stay competitive
Despite the fact that 49 percent of enterprise organizations surveyed by SADA Systems reported that they consider digital transformation “an extremely high priority for their organization,” Ovum’s research found that only 7 percent of companies had completed implementation.
